1974 Kawasaki H2B
1974
£12,000
This 1974 Kawasaki H2B is a one-year-only model and represents the final, most refined evolution of Kawasaki’s legendary H2 series. Known for its explosive two-stroke performance and aggressive road presence, the H2B preserved the raw character of its predecessors while offering improved stability and smoother power delivery—making it the most rideable version of the iconic “Widowmaker.” This particular example was discovered as a genuine barn find in the U.S., and has since undergone a sympathetic in-house restoration by TBR Classics. The goal was to retain its originality while bringing the bike back to full mechanical and visual health. The frame has been professionally repainted, the engine fully vapour blasted and rebuilt, and the bodywork refinished in the correct and striking Candy Lime colour. The seat has been re-foamed and re-covered using high-quality, period-accurate materials.

Further Description
- History: imported from upstate New York as a basket case barn find and sympathetically restored here at TBR Classics.
- While the bike’s chrome and trim remain original, they present cleanly and sit comfortably alongside the fresh paint and rebuilt engine, giving the bike a well-balanced and authentic finish. Apart from a Delkevic exhaust system and aftermarket air filters, the bike remains true to its original factory specification. These subtle, reversible upgrades enhance rideability without compromising its character or collectability. This is a rare opportunity to own a properly restored H2B with a compelling backstory—an authentic barn find, revived with care and expertise, and ready for the road or collection.
